Meet the Brand New Revizto 2.0

revizto-thumb-20

An entire year has passed since Revizto was introduced at 2012 Autodesk University. Now, at the 2013 AU, Revzto 2.0 was introduced. Most of the improvements came from feedback from users who work on large, complex projects, and they emphasized the need to be able to collaborate across different locations, especially using iPads. This wasn’t always easy before, and to address this need developers have greatly increased Revizto’s Editor and Viewer performance.

Forum Voting goes Live!

SketchUcation Voting System

There's no better way to start the week than to give our wonderful members a new toy to play with. Over the years we have seen requests for Facebook like buttons, G+, Twitter etc., but these come with page load disadvantages. No one likes a slow loading site!

Instead, we went ahead and developed our own little voting addon for the forums. Now you can like or dislike any post you wish. Voting for popular posts means you'll improve the user experience for everyone!

This is the first step in a long journey to reveal something very special in the new year. But first we need YOUR help.

JPEGmini

JPEGmini thumbnail

JPEGmini is a patent-pending photo recompression technology, which significantly reduces the size of photographs without affecting their perceptual quality. The technology works in the domain of baseline JPEG, resulting in files that are fully compatible with any browser, photo software or device that support the standard JPEG format. JPEGmini was developed by Beamr, an imaging technology company that powers some of the world's top web publishers, social networks and media companies. Beamr's goal is to improve the user experience and reduce the costs associated with storing and transmitting media files but for 3D artists, smaller image sizes may also be an important factor.
