With this latest stable release LuxRender is a production-ready application and some of the new features include support for normal mapping, improved GPU-acceleration for both AMD and Nvidia cards – multi-step motion blur, and updates to the GUI.

Unfortunately support for integration with SketchUp seems to have stopped on the SU2LUX plugin so it is not as feature rich as it is with other applications.
