OldSave allows you to save your SketchUp file in legacy formats such as 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.

IMPORTANT: Please note that if you save in older versions of SketchUp, the organization of tags into folders and other features implemented in later versions will be lost.

OldSave has two kinds of tools:

• Save (20xx): Saves the current file in the 20xx format. For example, "Save (2017)" will save the file using the SketchUp 2017 file format.
• Save a copy (20xx): Saves a copy of the file in the same folder as the original, using the 20xx file format. For example, "Save a copy (2019)" will save a copy of file.skp called file_2019.skp in the same folder.

There's two ways to access OldSave

• Toolbar: Go to View > Toolbars > OldSave.
• Extensions menu: Go to Extensions > OldSave.
