Custom Parameters allows you to add information to each of the elements of the model.

The information is stored within the IFC classification in the form of parameter groups.

The structure will therefore be:

• PSet_Name 1:
  • Parameter Name 1: Value
  • Parameter Name 2: Value
  • Parameter Name 3: Value PSet_Name 2:
  • Parameter Name 4: Value
  • Parameter Name 5: Value
  • Parameter Name 6: Value

All information can be displayed by any IFC viewer when exporting the model in IFC format.

In Trimble Connect you can work with the stored information to perform filters, queries, calculations or grouping.
