Activate the Plugin Open SketchUp and launch the MAJ Door plugin.

Adjust Set the door’s type, height, and position from the wall's bottom and opening angle. The door width will be automatically matched to the selected wall.

Select a Wall You can click on the wall where you'd like to place your door. The plugin works with any wall, including layered walls from MAJ Wall. If using the MAJ Wall, the plugin makes the wall area behind the window transparent for a realistic opening.

Select First side Click to select the first side of the door.

Select Second Side Click to select the other side of the door.

Finish The plugin automatically cuts the wall and creates a door, and places the window inside the wall.

Installation

Uninstall the old version.

Restart SketchUp.

Download the MAJ Door .rbz file.

In SketchUp, go to Window → Extension Manager → Install Extension.

Select the .rbz file and click Open.

Restart SketchUp to activate the plugin.

The plugin works as a standalone tool, but full integration and transparency features are available when used with MAJ Architect or MAJ Wall.

Quick Start

Launch the MAJ Door from the toolbar.

Choose a door type. Adjust height, sill height, and door angle.

Select the wall where you want to place the door.

Click Apply to insert the door into the wall.

Select the first and second sides of the door by clicking.

Settings & Parameters

Height: Exact dimensions of the door.

Sill Height: Distance from floor to bottom of the door (usually 0).

Door Angle: Specifies the rotation angle of the door panel relative to its closed position.

Usage Tips

Use the MAJ Wall to benefit from transparent wall placement.

Always select the correct wall before creating the door.

For custom designs, adjust frame and panel materials separately.

Review alignment in 3D view before final placement.

Troubleshooting

Door not cutting wall: Ensure the wall is selectable and not grouped incorrectly.

Wall not transparent: Confirm MAJ Wall is installed and active.

Door misaligned: Re-select wall face or adjust placement parameters.
