3skeng Mount is an extension for the design and documentation of MEP and 3D secondary/support steelwork incl. pipe and duct support (e.g. for C-Channel). It is part of the 3skeng engineering package that also contains 3skeng Pipe, 3skeng Steelwork and 3skeng Channel!

3skeng Mount
All you need to draw secondary/support steelwork models with proper fittings, supports and more. A memory function assists you in the process. Available libraries allow you to choose from different channel types.

The "Mount Tool" recognizes 3skeng Pipe elements and assists by a) proper pre-selection from the available variety of pipe and duct clips and b) auto-alignment of rotation, position and elevation simply by double-click. The "Mount Tool" also recognizes 3skeng Steelwork elements to correctly attach supports to the top of steel beam flanges and beam clamps to the side of steel beam flanges.

Libraries for 3skeng Mount
The introductory package includes the libraries “Threaded Rods & Pipe / Duct Support” with general pipe and duct support (connected by threaded rod) and “C-Channel” with C-Channels, proper fittings, supports and more. Manage your libraries within the 3skeng client.

3skeng Edit & Rotate
Edit and re-arrange your C-Channel, fitting and support arrangement. The edit tool is so intuitive that it nearly follows alone your ideas. Use magnetic points or the input of numeric values in a way you know this from SketchUp.

3skeng Connect
Move or copy segments of a design to a new location. Magnetic points and lines will help you to connect the elements. With the new feature "Multicopy", all selected elements stay glued to the mouse until you press “Escape”!

3skeng Label
This tool enables you to add multi-text and labels to 3skeng elements. Various adjustable parameters allow individual adaptations to the particular label task at hand. During the automated alignment you determine the position and distance of the labels.

3skeng List
Select parts of your model or the entire model and generate a list with detailed part information. You can easily transfer the list content via the clipboard to your own calculation sheets or bill of materials.

3skeng Client
Use your 3skeng client to purchase, install and manage 3skeng Tools and Pipe libraries.

First Steps
Click on a tool icon in the 3skeng toolbar.
The "3skeng Client" window will open and the appropriate tool will enter its work mode.
From now on, you can follow the context-sensitive tutors in the bottom tab of the "3skeng Client" that will help you through each step.
