The Medeek Foundation extension is a SketchUp Extension that provides a simple interface for creating accurate 3D foundation and footing geometry within SketchUp. This extension utilizes the SketchUp Ruby API programming interface and is compatible with the latest SketchUp releases (SketchUp Make 2017 64-bit and SketchUp Pro 2025 64-bit) as well as previous versions (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024).

Currently, the extension allows the creation of the following foundation types (Metric and US/Imperial):

• Slab on Grade (Rectangle, Polygon) [with garage curb, reinforcement, anchor bolts and internal footing options]
• Stemwall (Rectangle, Polygon) [with brick ledge, reinforcement, anchor bolts and internal footing/floor beam/stud wall options]
• Slab (Rectangle, Polygon) [with reinforcement and internal footings]

All foundation types are drawn/designed utilizing industry standard practices. Additional foundation types and footings are in the process of being added. Custom layers can be enabled in the global settings which allow concrete, rebar and wood framing to be placed on specific layers. Rebar/mesh and anchor bolts are now an option. FPSF are also an option for SOG and stemwall foundations. All foundation types are now fully parametric. Unlimited interior footings and slab depressions are available for slab on grade foundations. Brick ledges are also now available for slab-on-grade foundations.
