Chris-Fullmer

Hello fellow SketchUp users/lovers/groupies/etc. I've come to a point in my life where it is time to move on. I have quit my job as a landscape architectural design associate in an attempt to move on to greener pastures. I'll be packing my bags and leaving California as well. I've just accepted a position with a company in Colorado that deals with Satellites, drones, GPS, and some 3d modeling software...

says Chris in his forum announcement today about changing his job.

Chris has been with SketchUcation since the beginning when Google shut down the original SketchUp Forums from the @Last days in 2007. Even more importantly, he had also been a respected member of the SketchUp Community even much before Google and was one of the moderators of the original @Last Forums.

He is also a respected member of the SketchUcation Community - both as a generous plugin developer and as an always helpful and patient moderator. Now however, as he was offered a job by Trimble to work with the SketchUp Developer Team and he accepted the offer and even moved to Boulder, CO to start his very first work day there, he stepped down as a moderator at SketchUcation.

Chris will stay with us and remain a respected member. He has "titles" that he "earned" like "Top SketchUcator" - which cannot be dependent on company position and we hope that he will carry on sharing his brilliant plugins like Shape Bender - which was even featured in the SketchUpdate Blog - and alike.

We may lose a good "colleague" but will not lose a good friend - but gain a good "ally" in the SketchUp Development Team and hopefully will meet him both online on the forums and personally in the 3D BaseCamps as much as we used to. If you have not had the chance to meet Chris personally yet, here is a 3D BaseCamp presentation where he is the first presenter.

Good luck Chris and hope you will enjoy your new job!
