Use the KK_Tools to detail typical furniture joints in your model. The program only works on Components so make sure that you have made both parts of a joint components before attempting to use these tools.

Access K2WSTools from the Tools Menu: Tools/KKTools. Select the tool from the drop down list. The plugin adds a temporary tool bar specific to that tool. This toolbar is only available for the current secession of Sketchup. A typical toolbar contains 2 buttons 1. The Joint button for adding joint details 2. The help button which will display images and text for that peculiar joint.

I suggest using the x-ray view when first starting with this plugin so you can see what changes the program made to your model If changes are not what you expected use Edit/Undo to fix your model.

While using the tool the Status text at the bottom of the screen describes what the program is expecting at that point.

Each joint tool saves the current data as you enter it and if you select a joint face of the same size You will be asked if you want to use the existing data to save the step of entering the data over again.

Version 2.1.0 Changed the user interface so you use one button on the toolbar and always select both components of the Joint. At the appropriate time the program will ask the user to select the tool operation.
