Joint Push/Pull (JPP)

Once copied the next tool, Joint Push/Pull (JPP) is used to extrude the

rectangles. JPP is a plug-in written by Fredo, a.k.a. Fredo6 in the SCF.
JPP allows you to Push/Pull multiple surfaces, non-planar or planar, part of a series of Faces (curved Face) or just one Face, among other options.

After the operation has been completed SketchUp has created newly extruded geometry to the proxy and the subdivided mesh has updated
