I like the random colored (stained?) logs; gives it a contemporary feel. And like the floor texture. But the direction of the texture on the rafters is all wrong. I think you need to increase the bump on the fireplace brick texture, as it looks too smooth. You might consider cropping the image on the left, as the wardrobe is too prominent. Also, why is there a wood burning stove WITHIN the fireplace? Doesn't that mean most of the heat will go up the chimney?

Thanks guys, the stove within a fireplace is just a method to re-use a feature. There is a heat reflector within the the fireplace to retain heat within the room. I agree it is less than perfect but the brief I gave myself is to think of the project as a do over for an abandoned property. Sorry I did not answer sooner.
