Hi and Looking for a few tips
-
Hi everyone.
So I just landed my first job using Sketchup, and I'm very excited. I'm working for a cabinet company that does a lot of custom millwork. I would consider myself an intermediate user in terms of my knowledge of Sketchup. I'm also a journeyman carpenter with over a decade of experience in finishing and cabinetry.
So my question is; is there any good tutorials aimed specifically at building cabinets and using cutlist in Sketchup? Is there any good tutorials on workflow? Does anyone have any recommended extensions?
My hope is that in the next couple of months I can go from intermediate to advanced and have a really good and intimate working knowledge of Sketchup.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Check out Cabmaker32.com Great cabinet plugin. Can export to Cutlist plus, or use the authors cutlist program
