Hi Mac SketchUp Users,
It looks like Mac OS Catalina Beta, at least, does not fully support SketchUp.

3dConnexion devices are not supported at all yet, though they inform a driver is being developed
Natively SKP 2019 seems to work under Catalina so long as one has not been spoilt by a 3DConnexion navigation device.
Kind Regards, Scott

If you're on macOS Catalina, you should be running SU2019.3

Version 2019.3 is published. https://www.sketchup.com/download/allBUT it not been advertised, or notified in update checking ! Its main change is MAC's Catalina compatibility. So if you must have Catalina get it. BUT remember that Catalina is flaky with ALL earlier versions of SketchUp and they won't be getting updated. So if you use v2017/2018 you can't step up to Catalina. Catalina has also broken lots of other common applications, so you might want to check what they are, as fixing SketchUp might only be one step down along road !!

stepping up to Catalina when you're on SU2019 / SU2019.1 / SU2019.2 is also a no-no.

Catalina has broken many apps ! The latest SketchUp v2019.3 [available but not widely advertised yet!] addresses most known issues, but I understand that it still suffers from an 'undo/redo' bug, and that needs fixing directly by Apple !

@Euadorian what kind of problem with Audacity are you seeing? If it is being rejected as 32-bit, you need to update to the latest release (2.3.2) which is 64-bit. However, there is known issue with access to certain input devices such as the microphone. They are looking into it. See this link for a temporary workaround: https://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopi ... 2&p=378694

@slbaumgartner Thank you! It just won't open. I was in a rush, so I just used MacOS's voice recorder and then edited it in my PC. I'll look into it. Thanks!

Yes, all good now. I must 'unstick' this thread.
