Brilliant, something film makers could pick up and run with. As a setting this is fantastic.

Thank you, but thank Syd Mead. I'm just re-creating another one of his concepts. Again, not line for line, but close. Here's another update. I still have to add more roads and the main terminal buildings and the dock pit is still not finished.

That's the one. Like I said, it won't be line for line and the proportions won't be perfect. I'm pushing my abilities again so it will be what it will be. I'm also going to take some liberties. I really don't like the terminal.

My first car ever! (Seriously, this is my first car) Just to use in this scene. Yes, it's crude. Low poly for a reason. 2nd picture is what the previous "placeholder" looked like.

... watch this from the first scratch and again, I love this Airship as well as your entire story and it´s development. Keep going (but don't forget to go to bed on time, at least 2 or 3 times a week) if I had seen this thing, I would have been tempted to play with this shape too, but I probably wouldn't have held out so tightly - respect!

Thanks faust07 and HornOxx.
Unfortunately, my PC is too old to do any real animation, but yes, that would be cool to have it move. I'll settle for a good render.
It has been a challenging project so far. I always try to push myself with each project, which is why I was worried when I went through my "slump" for so long.
As for sleep, well, I'm between contracts (unemployed) right now, so I have time on my hands.

Had to tweak the monorail again. Terminal buildings coming along. Major changes to file structure and components.

Great work. You captured the idea and feeling of the original Mead piece beautifully even if it isn't line for line.

I must have missed the original inspiration, however, it is an atmosphere that goes with a build/render that makes it and you have this in spades. Cracking.

Thanks! I am only copying a master, Syd Mead. Pilou posted the original up thread.
