So ... who do you guys think will win tomorrow night's game? Brazil or Belgium? As a Belgian, I'm rooting for the Red Devils, obviously, but I'm not altogether sure our defense is going to hold. Also, we're Belgium. Still ... ought to be a decent game!

I'd love to see De Bruyne assist Lukaku to an upset, time for new blood to lift the trophy, Go Belgium.

Personally, I don't think we'll win. But I do hope our boys will give it their utmost best. (If they don't, we'll have them banished to Belgium's Antarctic base, with nothing to read but whitepapers on voxel rendering.) Beating Brazil, however, that'd be something. If that happens, Pete will hear me screaming all the way across the pond. Seriously looking forward to it. Quite curious to see what Martinez has cooked up, tactics wise. Who's that one guy (or gal) who voted for us?

He's a top class manager. You guys have some excellent players. Non will ever better Enzo Scifo though. He was the best ever.

Martinez sure beats Wilmots. I love Wilmots, I really do, but as a coach, he sucked. Scifo, Rich? Showing your age, aren't you?

Hmm, dunno about that. Brazil's defense seems much more solid than ours does. The thing with this Belgian team is, they can win from virtually anyone -they've got the talent- if they can muster the will to do so.

Oui! Allez la Belqique! If we win, we'll be vacationing in Aix this year and walk around like we own the place. I am really looking forward to France-Belgium. Should be good. solo wrote:Well done Belgium Now, while our team is talented, I think we owe coach Martinez a debt of gratitude. He's made solid choices so far. It was nice to see that our defense held up.

They gave the Brazilians a masterclass in my humble opinion, this must be THE world cup for underdogs with most major teams out.

Yeah. I'm hoping for a Belgium vs Croatia final. That'd be nice. France will be a tougher opponent than Brazil, me thinks. They won't be taking any chances. Shame Meunier is out. We could've used him. I've been enjoying watching Fellaini. He's an agent of chaos, and he knows it.

Oi! Watch it! Dammit, dammit, dammit. This was our one chance. I'm proud of our lads, but it hurts a little nonetheless. Bit of a sterile game, IMHO. More like chess than footie. Not as exciting as I hoped. I shall never drink French wine again. Never. Jamais!

Well done, Croatia! A well-deserved victory. Belgium vs England for third place. Might be interesting. Now the Cup is no longer an option, I'm hoping for balls out footie. If either team parks the bus, they ought to be flogged. If France wins the Cup, I'll consider that definitive proof there is no God.
