Actually this could easily be done with SDS1 as it was just a proxy and a subdivision with 3 iterations.
Add material and render; maybe 5 min. worth of work.
I just wanted to start a Valentines thread.

Rendering now (but I am a n00b with both rendering and getting a shape in Sketchup)
so wait a few :)

okok .. looking for kerkythea materials and a tutorial.
also .. how do you get the wireframe inside the render ? o0

you have to overlay the sketchup lines onto the render in photoshop or alike.

jim_tim: the plugin is called Artisan.....aka subdivide and smooth 2. Going to be released on 28th February.

Wow these are fantastic images..... I've not heard of Thea before. I think it gives very similar results to Vray from those images you have been producing. In fact if I was going to take a guess at what rendering package you were using I would've guessed Vray lol. Very very impressive though - I wish I had an ounce of these skills :cry:
