Rogue's W.I.P's!Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!Thanks, its just good to actualy have someone comment on a model. I havnt really been getting feedback for weeks so I though my attempt at getting useful viewer feedback were failing. Its really great when someone has something positive to say about my designs and modeling. It helps with design development.
Thanks. Here is one of the wheels that will be on the options list for my new Rogue Sedan: http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/ ... c33eef76b8 Find all my models on the 3D Warehouse

Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!Hey Rogue, Blank here. It's nice to see updates. Even though no one's commenting, they're still viewing "awesomeness under construction". But yeah, feedback's good. It reassures you that someone in this planet cares, lol.
Anyway, keep 'em updates flowing. I'll check regularly and I hope others do too. Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!Thanks Blank. I’m glad people understand that feedback is a key part of design. I noticed a mesh problem with the wheel I just posted...I just fixed it.
There will be no more exterior pics of the Rogue Sedan until I get to the interior and engine details. BTW does anyone have any good images of the Ford I5 Duratec (Volvo engine), 3.0 24 Valve DOHC V6 (from American Fords) and the Duratec 35 3.5 V6 DOHC or any similar engines. I need reference for modeling. Plus any running gear, suspension, gear box, steering, breaks, etc. Find all my models on the 3D Warehouse
Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!I do!
Nice wheels. I'm downloading sketchup 7 right now. I'll be working on my skills for making a tuning wheel. Caus U went far away from me! Damn they look surreal. So good Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!Your car work is great. I actually follow your threads quite a bit but don't comment....but people are definately listening. Your car tutorial was great. I'm hoping at some point you have the time to get a few more together because they are extremely helpful and your work is awsome.

LOL, I have a lot more than ten. It seems I find something else to model and get distracted from what I was already modeling. I have a lot of spare time on my hands at the moment and will get around to finishing some of my more important projects. I am getting my computer upgraded soon so it will be able to handle bigger models faster, meaning faster modeling of higher poly models. Oh, by the way, thanks all for the good comments. As I suspected there are people following my posts but quietly. Thanks for the support. I am still going to be some time before I finish any big project but while you wait I will always have little ones along the way to keep you at bay and to prepare for the release of some bigger ones. Its also nice to see you here FJC.... PS: any one have a clue where to find any pics of those engines I mentioned earlier? Find all my models on the 3D Warehouse
Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!
I found an image of 1 on LiveSearch http://biker16.home.att.net/010205fordengine.jpg Or ask someone with a ford S-max to open the hood so you can see it. Regards,

Those sorts of images are ideal. I am also searching for elevation (plan) images that show external detail. Thanks Find all my models on the 3D Warehouse

I can only dream of doing work that great. You should be proud of what you do - your stuff actually looks real, exciting, awesome - keep going - make more spare time, we'd all appreciate it, k? If you really want something you won't ever stop pursuing it.
Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!Great stuff
![]() I WISH I had the patience to work on a single car for that long. I've only made 1 car before (VolksWagen Type 181: "Thing"), and it was a pain, so I cut it short, and haven't modeled a car since.
Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!oh my god, i love it.
going to own one before i die. keep up all the outstanding work guys! pav Just won the 'Who is Least Competitive Championships' where trying to win will make you lose. Trying to lose makes you win which makes you lose. Not trying at all makes you lose which makes you win which makes you lose.
Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Wait... What did you want to own? BTW, if you want, I have a sketchyphysics version of the "Thing", but it's controls aren't correct (I gave it 4 wheel steering in the SketchyPhysics version, and it's pretty wobely and has no reverse. I only had about 20 minutes to make it work in sketchyphysics. When SP3 comes out, I'll probably be able to make a better version, as I model on a mac.) http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/ ... 8126fada26 Here's the normal (not sketchyphysics) version: It's the most complete, and not posted on the warehouse. You can edit it how you like, it's separated into components, and made easy to customize. That, and like all my models, It has a file size so low it confuses ME. ![]() (BTW, if you want, you could check out my "some of my stuff..." page. ![]()
Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!Thanks all for the comments. I will try to keep hard at finishing my model asap.

█Kevin█ (about 20% done) Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!I've never created a car using that technique you show in your video but I enjoyed the tutorial very much and plan on using some of those methods . . . when I finally get to use SketchUp again in a couple of weeks, or so.
Keep up the great work - thank you for the time to publish the video tutorial - awesome! If you really want something you won't ever stop pursuing it.
