Rogue's W.I.P's!Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!Oh i see now. You didnt have to quote it though.
(btw what is up with your account? you had 178 models and now you only have about 165 TheWhatever Reporting for nonsense reasons? or is it a glitch?) Regards,
█Kevin█ (about 20% done) Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!No, just maintenance.
I felt like deleting some of my older models and re-arranging my collections a little, I do it quite often Find all my models on the 3D Warehouse
Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!
It may be the angle but those tires look huge. If that's the objective then I suggest you make the rear tire wider (and that's coming from a tuner, wait a minute...). Right now it looks a bit "odd". Once again, it might just be the angle. I think you have to go with Goldilocks' plan. Not too big, not too small, just right... Lol. Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Lol, that’s quite a good quote. It was just a test model, so it will be adjusted to suite when it comes to the real thing. i think it may be some time before i finish it as I am not good at doing underbody and engine details... ![]() Find all my models on the 3D Warehouse

Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!Great! I love the XJ. It looks awesome with the huge five spoke wheels.
Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!I think I'll jst stick with the likes of the XJ, X-Type and possibly an S-Type.
I will also be making other models like the XK and trying the XF. If you knew me well you'ld know that the European brands that Ford owned are my favorite. Such as; Jaguar, Aston Martin and Land Rover! So, expect to see more of the likes. Find all my models on the 3D Warehouse

Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!Great looking car - if you had to guess, how long do you think it takes to create the body for the Artega?
If you really want something you won't ever stop pursuing it.
Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!Thanks...
I have no idea how long it would take. I'm guessing, to build the body, maybe a few weeks. I don't know if they hand craft the Artega or if they use mass production tecniques. Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!![]() I just thought about violation and all. I think you didn't claim credit for the model. It's a feature in SU7. I think the contributors can delete the model if they want to, say, in case someone reuploaded it for no reason. So you might want to reupload... Oh yeah, in case you guys don't know how crazy Rogue is, let me remind you: If I were you, I would make a circle, pull it out, smooth it and call it a day. ![]() Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Ha, thanks for the comments. I try to add a realistic amount of detail where possible.
As I said above, just the right amount of detail. I did actually, sort-of, skip out on a few poly's making the last few parts but that doesn’t really show in the mesh Find all my models on the 3D Warehouse

Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!That hood vent is awesome! Is it me or does the GT70's rear look wide? If so, then it must be the rear tires.
By the way, I've been working on the Artega and I managed to reduce the size to 4.05 MB(3.05 MB without the tires). Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!Here are some renders of the GT70

Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!
That person would have to be one of the best 3D modelers or would need blueprints or very good reference images of the car. For now it isn’t possible to create an accurate model of it. Find all my models on the 3D Warehouse

Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!I'll stick to the website. It's much more friendlier than Picasa's layout IMO.
I've been working on the Artega and made a render too. The design is incomplete but I thought I'd upload a teaser... ![]() This one is going to be different since I'm trying to keep the visual aspect of the car as real as possible. So yeah, no fancy widebody stuff... Re: Rogue's W.I.P's!That looks really, really interesting. I can’t tell much so far, as there really isn’t much to see, but it looks good.
That image reminds me of how the Topgear team criticised Porsche on their cayenne photos BTW, Rogue Maverick GT just uploaded to the 3Dwarehouse Here are some pic's: http://picasaweb.google.com/RogueAutomo ... n/Rogue3D# Find all my models on the 3D Warehouse
