I am working on drawing a hand rail, and it has a 2" dia. profile for the grip.
Question is: when i push pull or follow me this round profile, some sections show the circles facets and some show smooth without the circles edge showing. How do I make it consistent? without hiding all those lines, of course..
Thanks,
Hank
I like it when I can answer my own inquiry. The circles that extrude smooth are still intact circles. The circles that extrude with facets showing are circles made of line segments (exploded circles).

Re: push pull circles with faces 111707Hank, do you have the Weld ruby script? If not get it here: http://www.smustard.com/scripts/
Select the "broken" arc or circle and run the weld script. It makes the arc or circle intact again so your push/pull will be nice and smooth.
Re: push pull circles with faces 111707Yes I do. What a great tool. Use it all the time. Thanks for the suggestion.
