Hello,
I have a text that I need to correct, but I no longer know which font it was written in. Is this information available in SU? I don't find it anywhere.
I have tried all the fonts available in SU, but it is none of those and I don't understand how I could have written it in a non present font!
Kind regards
Alohaa

Re: How to determine in which font a text was writtenSketchUp Pro lists all of the ttf fonts installed on your computer.
So you should be able to find it... ![]() TIG

3D or 2D text? Download the D'oh Book for SketchUp
Re: How to determine in which font a text was writtenSince 3D text is actual geometry it is not editable without an extension.
But if you screenshot your text and upload it to https://www.myfonts.com/pages/whatthefont it might identify what the font is. Download the D'oh Book for SketchUp

Note that the 3D text needs to have been created with that extension in order to be editable. If it was created with the native 3D Text tool, the extension won't work on it. Share the text with us in a screenshot or as a .skp file. We might be able to help you identify it. Etaoin Shrdlu

Re: How to determine in which font a text was writtenThank you for the offer!
I have since realised that I did not create the text in question in SU, but in Estlcam, the program in which I load the dxf and define the milling paths, and which is just as inflexible as far as this question is concerned, and have been able to identify the font in the long list: Monotype. But, since I sometimes create it directly in SU, the question still arises. I will install this extension. If I don't get along, I will post the skp. With kind regards Alohaa
