Two questions:
Vertical Offset
Is it possible to have a vertical offset from the surface that I am "skattering: on?
Say I have already distributed a grass field and I want to distribute fallen tree leaves. I want the leaves to be on top of the grass which is 3 inches tall.
For now I have offset the original surface and distributed the leaves on the hidden offset surface as a work around. I could also modify the scattered object, but it is a proxy I did not create.
Affinity
Is there any way to set an affinity to an object within a skatter?
Perhaps certain distributed objects are more likely to occur within close proximity to one distributed object than another.
An example being that clover in a yard tends to be close to other clover or dead grass is closer to other dead grass.
Or affinity to an object. Perhaps the dead grass has an affinity to a specified tree object. Similar to fall off but not all objects within the skatter experience the fall off or invert fall off as other objects.
Thanks for the wonderful plugin.
Thanks for any responses

Re: Vertical Offset and Affinity
Enable "Translation" in the "Random Transform" rollout, then put 3cm in "Min" and "Max" for the Z axis.
I call this feature "clusters", and it will come in a future update ![]()
Re: Vertical Offset and AffinityThanks for the response.
I'll check out the offset and look forward to clusters
