Hi Thomas,
Is it possible to filter a host by the texture?
Example: let's say I have a complex ground mesh complete with roads, borders, grass zones, bush zones, tree zones, walkways, pond, etc. and I want to just use the grass zone as a host.
Today, I have to actually detach the grass zone (mapped with a grass texture) from the whole ground mesh to be able to use it as a host. (or paintbrush the zones manually)
It's not that complicated IF I DON'T NEED TO UPDATE the mesh.
If I have to make any edits in the ground mesh, I need to reattach the grass zone in the whole mesh, make edits and redetach/reskatter again.
Meanwhile, if I was able to filter the area by texture, I'd just have to select the ground mesh as a generic host, and filter it by the grass texture for grass skatter, by the road texture for pebbles skatter, by the treezone texture for trees skatters, etc.
