[Q] Camera clipping falloff unit?

Postby optimaforever » Tue Jan 19, 2016 10:42 am

Hello thomas,

how do the falloff in the distance clipping work exactly?
I the unit of the falloff the same as the clipping distance? or is it a ratio?
Can't I adjust the falloff rate? like a fresnel ramp, exponential or logarhythmic or hyperbolic ramps?
I'm struggling on this and the help skatter isn't very explicit about this.

The falloff is the same unit as the clipping distance (the model's unit).
It's a distance starting from the clipping distance.

Let's say you have this :
Clipping distance : 150
Falloff : 100

The falloff will start at 50 and end at 150.

Ok but is there a way to tweak this falloff curve?
I mean, falloff is just linear? Is it possible to have another curve?

Not for now, but it's planned for a future update.
