First let me say what a feature rich scatter options you have here.
One that came to mind is rotation relative to group's axis.
Imagine you have a grass field and want to simulate the wind effect. You can rotate them about their own axis to create randomness with Transformation Rotation on Z axis, you can also make them follow slope, but you cannot simulate wind.
This could be achieved by making them rotate them based on insertion point and the direction of group's Axis and if you use X and Y, for instance, you can make them all fall a bit to the side.

Re: [FR] Distribution - RotationCould you provide a screenshot of what you want to acheive? (A few objects will be enough)
Re: [FR] Distribution - Rotation
Imagine that you have your transformation preferences alredy applied (wich includes a random rotation about component axis) and then you apply a second rotation to each, that makes them all seem to have a force pulling them, with the same intensity. It's a bit fake, I know, but a simple enough way to simulate wind without bending stuff. It could even have a small jitter on the angle rotation so that they don't rotate eactly the same amount.
Re: [FR] Distribution - RotationWell you can acheive that by exactly what you wrote at the bottom of your image: Use Rotation X and Y.
The jitter will be the difference between Min and Max.
Re: [FR] Distribution - RotationDuh!
EDIT: But are you using how many instances? 3? I was using only one instance. EDIT2: Duh! You have only one too.
