Fabric texture

Hello everyone,

Do you know how to get a beautiful texture of fabrics on a chair and a sofa? Mine looks good in sketchup but gets horrible in Thearender ...

Doesn't Thea come with an extensive Fabric library for licensed users?

Thank you for your answer and the links. Indeed, it is better with textures already made. But for example there is no velvet so to create it is more complicated.

I no longer use Thea. I did have it up to v2. If my memory still works it was the sigma field that was used to create the velvet light scattering appearance.

Velvet darkens the diffuse because light doesn't bounce back from certain angles and i think it was sigma that controlled that effect in Thea.
