Softer shadows

Softer shadows

For all of you render gurus out there. . .is there a way in Thea to play down the shadow contrast so it is not so dark? I know there is a soft shadow setting but they still come out very dark.

Is that a sun intensity setting? A turbidity thing?

If I make it look easy. . .then it probably is.

Using the sun tool adjust the soft shadow multiplier.

Multiplier at default 1.0

Multiplier at 10.0
ss 10.png


Multiplier at 50.0
ss 50.png
