Mapping Issue

Postby cmeed » Tue Nov 03, 2015 12:15 pm

I have a problem that looks ok in SU but looks off in Thea. The mapping seems to be off.
The texture is meant to be a pleated fabric which follows the form of a proscenium arch. The original texture was just a up and down pleated fabric but (and heres where i think its goes wrong) I used the pins to make it fit the shape.
the face is planer.
is there a way to make it fit or do i have to actually create the texture to the shape of the face?
thank you in Advance
Chris

What happens if you triangulate the face and re-render?

The model uses a projected/distorted texture. Sub-dividing the surface into smaller quads, will make the rendering look right.
