I cannot replicate it. I have two SU instances opened and all Thea4SU windows in each of them rendering simultaneously without a problem.

What Thea4SU version are you using?

That was in the previous version: TheaForSketchUp_v1.3.05.187.1086.

I am now using TheaForSketchUp_v1.3.06.202.1115 and today I discovered that I can no longer export my master model (350MB) using the Thea Tool. The Browser and Rendering Window (but, of course, it does not render) open, but the Tool does not open.

Smaller models work fine.

 :o
That's a really important information, which you didn't mention in the initial post...

Unfortunately I don't have any models in that size, which means that I don't have any chance of trying to see what's happening...
The biggest SU model I have is 170Mb and it works fine...

I assume that it's an issue related to memory, but can't confirm it... :?

If possible I suggest that you share the model with Tomasz...
That's really the best advice I can come up with at this point... :|

It the crash happens on opening TheaTool, then it should not happen. I am sure Bob will not be allowed to send the model. Is there any "strange" material name in list of materials in the model? I am thinking about characters that may not be supported by your file system.

If it happens during export, then it is related to 32bit memory limitation of SU. I hope we will see 64bit version one day. Exporting selection in two parts and merging it in TheaStudio is here an option.

It does not crash: the TheaTool just doesn't open.

That's what I'll do.

Thank you both for your responses :thumb:

Update:
Cut the model down to 278MB. Now TheaTool opens, but, after 30 minutes, it still has not exported the scn.thea.
I've loaded this model before (last year) and had no problems. The scn.thea was 1.4GB and the pack.thea 625MB.
True enough, back then the SU model was only 190MB. 8-)

I guess I'll have to break it down some more: progress to follow.
The attached are:

1. A SU screen shot of the model
2. A quick (~30sec - amazing!!)Presto render of the full model from last year's pack.thea.
