Basecamp 2012 Faces - To - Names

Postby liam887 » Fri Aug 24, 2012 2:10 pm

Hi all

Well base-camp is nearly upon us, some of us have registered and many more will be registering in the coming weeks. It would be good to put some faces to names. I dont know what most of you look like except for those who attended last time.

BTW, I noticed that the registration forms had a slot for 'User Name' also, so I imagine Aidan is using his noodle and thinking of having the attendee tags with both the real and user names. Good thinking Aidan :thumb:

First it was me in 2008 who put it on (with a felt pen). Then in 2010 they even encouraged participants to write it on - now they may even prepare the badges this way! :enlight:

I knew when I signed up on SCF I should have made up a cooler user name. Ah well. Do you suppose Aiden will just print my name twice? Or once really big?

Incidentally, that's me on the left.

Gray hair creeping (crept) in.

I am really looking forward to seeing old friends (tuning my ear to the "Queens English" being spoken) and meeting the never before seen legends of scripting and modeling.

I've grown a goatie, something like TIG's. This is going to be a SCF management prerequisite in the future :) Now I'm thinking of going for a new hair style ..... maybe like Aaron's as it would compensate for my inside leg measurement of 29". Short legs run in the family, I understand we come from mountain men in the past and short legs were an advantage in downhill running :?
