Organic challenge

Postby Epix3D » Wed Dec 12, 2018 12:54 pm

I have this PET bottle which I want to have an flowery volumetric organic pattern twisted around the surface.
Pattern will be on outside on surface

How can this be done?

Can you use a texture? You could just UV unwrap the mesh and paint it if a texture will do

This has to be a 3D model for visualization

Hi - with this bottle topic I also struggled some time ago :D I am not sure, but I think I had seen a great tutorial from forum member Cotty and afterwards I made my own attempt, which I then posted in the Shaderlight Forum (see link below)
http://www.artvps.com/index.php/discuss ... read/1332/
There I also documented my done steps, which are also to be found in the 3D Warehouse. I hope this might help...
