I'm trying to do some curtains and am not seeing the grab handles to converge the pins.

Is that a licensed option?

Read the instructions PDF. You'll see what is not enabled if you haven't licensed it yet.

Pins require a license.

Incredible plugin!! :thumb:
I'll test it on Mac, if it works, I'll never come back to Blender to make clothes simulation.

The only issue on Mac is the on reboot the license needs validating each time. We'll issue a fix for that next week.

OMG it is so embarrassing for me to post this question in the forum - I can not understand how an activation or a license purchase work, more precisely neither how nor where. My lack of English does not allow me to understand what is explained in the manual PDF

Since this tool is again such a milestone obviously I also want to try and use it and can hardly wait - please help me (btw - the plugin installation worked perfectly)

Click Obtain License...

You can test the license workflow with my Plugin Souvenir, which uses the same SCF License, but is completely FREE. So you can try as many times as you wish.

I played a bit with ClothWorks and I can say it blew my panties off

Anyway, I would have some suggestions:
- quick reset button for sliders (for example, to quickly reset gravity to default, or wind to zero, etc). This is because while simulation is running, sliders may be have a lag in response time, but one click button would be much faster.

- some sliders (drag, viscosity, etc) could use a non-linear variation, because as they are now, the slightest move of the cursor can jump the value a lot. Probably at the left end of the slider, the increase should be slower and increase the value following a exponential curve (or other function, should be tested)

- like Fredo's Animator, this plugin could make use of automatic video exporting, using FFMPEG, for example.

Thanks for a wonderful plugin!

the clip speed had to be increased 5x, because the animation was incredibly slow in SketchUp

An amazing tool!!
Is it possible to adapt it to drape a flag vertically at rest on a pole? For example, a flag standing on pole inside a room.

Here is a higher resolution simulation of an American Flag.
Flag.png

A roughly 100cm X 170cm rectangle was drawn for the flag and applied a grid with spacing of 4cm.

The pole was assigned a collider state. Pins were attached at upper and lower right corners of the flag.

Using ClothWorks UI, flag thickness was increased to 20mm to prevent self-overlaps.

After simulation, I applied loop subdivision and followed with 2 Laplacian smoothing iteration to eliminate rounded corners formed by loop subdivision.

A texture was assigned at the end, utilizing the Toggle Draped option.

Looking forward to trying this out! Too much work going on for awhile is going to put a damper on this. Where's the examples of comforters?

Yes, that's just a typo in the dialog. When you use the second 1/840 option, the actual timestep set is 1/960. Already fixed and will be updated in next release.

Pixero wrote:

It's 3 computers.

Additionally, the way SCFLicense works is that if you release (deactivate) a licence you can use the licence on another device or reactivate it on the same device. So, there is no limit to the number of times the licence can be activated/deactivated, as long as it is on up to 3 devices.

Purchased. It's going to be exciting using it.
I'm on Mac/SU2018 and the toggle UI window/button doesn't work. It shows up once but if I toggle it by hitting the button it never shows up again until i shut down and restart SU.
