On a Mac crowd maker still does not work. The dialog now works fine but it does not create any crowd on the selected surface.
Hope you can update when you have any time. But don't worry, I am already fine with the current version making crowds with the fur dialog. Francois
An idea for crowd maker, it would be nice if we can project a line that guides the crowd into certain directions. For instance at stations crowds tend to walk back and forth following routes. Maybe its possible to click a line, or a curved line and crowdmaker puts the crowd with a specified with along this line.

people, you are talking about making grass, but if I try to make a simple rug, with fur, the file will jump in size to some 20-30mb! It will take minutes to import it into another file (like, inside of a house). And render times (to start the render) will soar in VRAY.

Just to the Plugins folder. After restart you'll find fur_en in the Menu>Plugins. But opening the browser it is in German. (Wurde allerdings noch nicht überprüft; Gegenvorschläge sind willkommen )

Is it possible to make carpet with this plugin? I think rounded cilinder shape should be good enough.

That's it thomthom. We are here also for these share. Is a tip for the staff, if possible to share their techniques and components (maps, textures) of grass and others. tak2hata wrote:Hi,All. I update fur plugin to verion1.3j. Increased translatable words for local language file. Franch translation by Daredevil. Persian translation by Majid. Spanish translation by Oxer. Thanks you very mush.
Thanks.
This is the translation of Make Fur to languaje Portuguese-BR (Brazil) by me. Tak2hata would be possible in the next version, you increase the size of the buttons "Assign Material to" and "Get Stuff From." Is that in Portuguese, we have more characters in the translation and some letters may not appear on the icon (button). You can see who is running smoothly letters with accents and numerical symbols.

This is a great plugin, as another poster has said, it's great for landscaping. Just have a quick question though.... How can I get a component to 'reproduce' at roughly the same size as the original component? Everytime I try, no matter what I fiddle with, the instances become helluva lot bigger than oringal and I have to scale them down everytime. Thanks in advance, sorry for the (probable) stupid question.

Thanks.

I love the fur plugin! Thank you for this update; a preview is such a great idea. Is it possible to simplify the toolbar/menu options to eliminate the PC or Mac buttons (depending on what system you're running)? I'm on a PC and I have tried deleting all reference to the Input Box at the end of the script, but I get this error:
Error Loading File fur_en.rb C:/Program Files (x86)/Google/Google SketchUp 8/Plugins/fur_en.rb:2083: syntax error, unexpected '}', expecting kEND.
Obviously there is something else calling on the Input Box references.

I love this plugin. Can't believe how fast it is. But I'm having trouble nailing down settings for a particular type of grass - anyone want to take a stab at it? North Carolina tidal grass, 6+ feet tall:

I think it's all green in the early summer, but I'm having trouble finding photos.

Hello everyone. I really enjoyed this new feature. I also updated the language to Portuguese-pt-BR this new version: (v1.5a) Whenever possible, I will update the translation of new versions on same post: viewtopic.php?f=323&t=28092&p=249923#p249923Hug!
