Sketchup to Thea

Sketchup to Thea

Postby fabrice » Mon Oct 03, 2022 8:11 am

Hi there,

I bought thea render to sketchup a few years ago now... (version1.5.07.480.1447 x64)
I (finally) change my computer, always Sktechup 2017, but I can't get the old software Sk to Thea, Thea doesn't answer me, and I can't find where to download it on the internet to install it on my new computer!! I have all the codes but not the software... Does anyone know where to download it? :(

Thank you in advance and have a great day everyone.

I believe the SketchUp to Thea dev Tomasz has links in the Licensed User area in the Thea Forums.

Someone asked the same query a few months ago and reported that they got the .exe they needed

https://thearender.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 11&t=27735

Those forums are now archived so you need to contact support to get anywhere.

Well I have no hope on that side...

It is no longer Thea but Altair who manages, and he does not manage the old licenses...

Does anyone have another solution to download an older version of sktechup to Thea? It's still incredible that changing computers involves losing your software...

That's the outcome when the bigger fish swallows the smaller fish. You end up needing a new pole to continue fishing.

Lesson for the future. If you aren't planning to stay current with software, make sure you keep copies of the installers for possible future use.

Did you happen to search your old computer for the SketchUp to Thea installer?

Thea team finally got back to me and sent me to install it and it works!

I didn't believe it but they finally respect their former customers.

Thank you very much for taking time for me !

For those who have the same problem, you must write to the following address, attaching your license :
