Re: Christmas Modeling Competition with PrizesHere's my submission! The Mk-XI Jet-Sleigh! comlpete with a Bag of toys created using Vertex Tools. PDF attached was created using Layout and details all of the features of the Mk-XI.
I just realized that I was not following the rules to the T by submitting a pdf report of my model. Here are some images. Here you can almost feel the raw power of the turbines! Last edited by c_bednar on Tue Dec 10, 2013 6:22 am, edited 1 time in total.
Re: Christmas Modeling Competition with Prizesaye...but since no one has done it yet...it confused me...any way...thanks
Re: Christmas Modeling Competition with Prizes
That definitely corroborates my supposition. ![]() Re: Christmas Modeling Competition with PrizesI haven't used the Vertex tools much(I am new to it)except for creating the surface of the tree stripe and a bit for the snow cover .

Re: Christmas Modeling Competition with PrizesWe are closely watching how members are voting. Especially down votes.
Re: Christmas Modeling Competition with PrizesHi
![]() Merry Christmas! Re: Christmas Modeling Competition with PrizesI guess if we post our submission earlier than the set deadline we get more votes? Better finish soon!
Great work people!
Re: Christmas Modeling Competition with Prizes@faemow82
I wouldn't be concerned by that at the moment. @all #1 There's an unscrupulous member who, at the moment is registering numerous accounts and downvoting everyone else and, you guessed it, voting for their own entry..... That's just bad karma dude! Especially at Xmas time... So I urge members to use their votes positively and refrain from investing their energy desperately trying to 'fool the system'...Big Brother' is watching... #2 In the guidelines we mention 'provide example of Vertex Tools in use'... ..like so... #3 Get your entries in. Get voting.
Re: Christmas Modeling Competition with PrizesWould it be possible to remove that person's entry and their votes so we feel comfortable voting.

Re: Christmas Modeling Competition with PrizesCan you not set it that one cannot vote for oneself?
Re: Christmas Modeling Competition with PrizesWe will...but we're not changing the system mid competition or the unscrupulous person/s will whine.
Just vote for your favourite when it ends.... You should enter a model
Re: Christmas Modeling Competition with Prizes
Way too busy for this at moment.
Re: Christmas Modeling Competition with PrizesI wondered why there were so many down votes. Deplorable behaviour, the suspect should be banned with his entry removed.
I hope to enter this soon if I can spare some time. ![]() oli
Re: Christmas Modeling Competition with PrizesGo back to the poll system like before, im sure i gave 2 downs and 2 ups, after seen my entry go from 2 down to -1 in the space of 5 mins made me suspicious, make it a poll

Re: Christmas Modeling Competition with PrizesHello, This is my entry for the modeling competition.
Good luck to everyone! Used the vertex tools to make trails in the snow, for fixing the wall under the rooftop and adjusting the shape of the snow on the trees.
