thousand faces challenge?

It looks like speed challenge is going to hibernate for some time. I was thinking about a challenge idea similar to speed challenge but the limit is in the number of (flattened) faces. That is when you explode all components etc you must end up with less than 1000 faces. The rest of the rules could be the same as speed challenge. Any ideas on this?
