Oli, it's your decision as the winner of the last challenge, so NO tree provided it is.

Nice one!
I understand that you can post multiple models.
I am going to start working on a more "traditional" tree house.

Still not many models hmmm.... :|

See Ya

Ok - here goes my first speed modelling challenge entry. I would call it: "Thirty minutes are not enough, now Sang is wondering how to get the floors up there."

It is basically made with plugins and image tracing. Starting off with a 3d grid of construction points; using Qhull/Vornoi/Sphere on them; For the ropes deleted all faces and used Convert lines to cilinders plugin;
The house was then treated with lattice maker; The tree I traced from a jpeg with the line tool.

Almost only automated modelling, just positioning of the ropes holding points and the ladder of course.
Hope you like it, however.

Alright! Finished my old school tree house
While all of you have been making tree houses of the future, I have Gone back and made a more traditional tree house.
While it is more old school I added some more modern touches!

Here it is!

For this one I have to admit that I lost track of the clock because my daughter woke up. Might have been taking three or four minutes too long... dunno. :oops:
I am not really happy with it anyway (messed up the cut on top, textures...) but maybe the idea is worth posting it.

@DragoonProgamming
Upload an animated .gif that should be fairly small in file size.

@participants

great entries so far, i was wondering why everyone wanted a tree supplied but no one asked for a house? ;)

Nice one
You could also make colour of your GROUND brown and cover it randomly with small green GRASS objects .. and of course add some blue transparent SKY with rounded yellow SUN in the background :D

That's the thing though, we could all do lots of little things to improve our models, but usually the 30minute limit stops us!
I had lots of ideas for mine that just never happened. Maybe after the comp ends I shall try them.
