I've lost the original thread, but didn't bmike have two entries?

Here's the original and you'll see bmike deleted his original submission.

Only 2 more days of voting so better get it in before it's too late!

Congrats again to Oli :thumb:

It was close up to the last day or so but we have a clear winner!

Congrats to all who entered also, very nice models overall. All that's left is for Oli to decide the next topic?

Remus should be back for the next challenge so normal service will be resumed. Sorry for any delays during the last challenge or two :?

Oh sweet! I forgot the votes ended, it seemed the voting was longer for the last challenge?

Thank you for the votes, I hope this will give the 3D printers a challenge!! although I've seen much more complicated stuff on their website...I was going to subdivide one more time but I didn't think it added anything to the model. I want to keep the model on my desk and use it as a pen holder!! so it may be functional as well, it would look like a mini kunsthaus!

I guy at my work was miffed I won because he's trying to learn sketchup lol and he said he could do something better, he's really competitive! "its only a bunch of triangles" :) shame how people can be like that.

Cheers Gaieus, a claim to fame! :D

d12: of course I will, some real DOF for a change! :P

dermot: liberal all the way, commando in fact! ;)

Any suggestions for the next topic? I don't really wanna decide again. something fun......

Congratulations Oli.

What about a bridge, have we had that before?
Garden shed or office/summerhouse.
Street furniture.
Treehouse.
A burger in a bun (getting desperate now!)
Some kind of boat.

Thanks guys, it was fun to make! :) can't wait to see it in the flesh!

I like the idea of bugs. Could be very imaginative with this one.

Treehouse is also very cool.

So its between bugs and treehouse....let voting commence

If you want treehouse to win.......type "+1 treehouse"
If you want bugs to win..............type "+1 bugs"

I will stop counting the votes in 24 hours

Ok, so if it is a treehouse then I have a question. Will there be a tree provided to use in the challenge? I would imagine making the tree for the treehouse could take up much if not all of the 30 min. for some, me included.
