The time has come to once more choose your favourite model from the rather excellent selection available.

hi Remus,

finding this page, or knowing the voting had began was/is quite complex, is there any way to make it more public for future contests?

maybe a sticky for the duration of the vote so more passing viewers...

just a thought, as someone with a vested interest who couldn't find it for looking...

Well that was fun, I’m glad I gave it a try! In regard to some ideas for anther challenge… How about adding one component to the challenge? So say a model of a small fish is posted and the contest is ‘best model involving the component’. I could picture lots of comical and interesting entries based off that. Contestants could model things ranging from an ‘aquarium’ to a ‘can of sardines’ using the component.

If you are looking to stick to the standard type of speed modeling challenge, how about ‘mode of transportation’ or ‘lawnmower’?

You know they have races in lawnmowers? It's quite entertaining to be honest :D

Like this (see the codes on the right)?

Marcus

Could do - just let me know, guys. That yellow was supposed to represent "gold" - we just cannot render it correctly (like "shiny") at SCF :D

Let's see (at least) what CaptainsLS says. I wouldn't even mind the hassle to adjust it to the current winner's preference all the time ;)
Will you ask him, Remus?

I think the 'post a model involving this model' idea is worth a try, so if there are no objections i'll start modelling a fish :D
