Speed Modelling Challenge #9 The Tools of Wile E. CoyoteThe Tools of Wile E. Coyote
Rules at the top of the forum. Competition ends 25th March 18:00 GMT. I look forward to seeing your entries. Re: Speed Modelling Challenge #9 The Tools of Wile E. CoyotePoint of clarification. . ..since I picked this. . .
Any and all weapons, tools, and supplies built by that wonderful company. . ..ACME! ![]() If I make it look easy. . .then it probably is.
Re: Speed Modelling Challenge #9 The Tools of Wile E. CoyoteFinally, a topic I'd really enjoy modeling!
![]() My entry; done in EXACTLY 30 minutes ( around 20 seconds off... close call...) images and styles applied after time ( I can do that, right?) don't know what it's called though ![]() ...What, too many pictures? ![]()
Re: Speed Modelling Challenge #9 The Tools of Wile E. CoyoteThere's already a winner, why should I even try?
No, seriously, I'll do my best, as that was one of my favorite cartoons. -Miguel Lescano

the rocket is nice but i'm pretty sure the bat wings will win. [and i'm pretty sure i know who could draw a nice bat suit ![]() dotdotdot
Re: Speed Modelling Challenge #9 The Tools of Wile E. CoyoteSweet model mate.
I guess I'm gonna have to make up an ACME gizmo then.
Re: Speed Modelling Challenge #9 The Tools of Wile E. CoyoteLooking good guys, the standard is already very high
![]() Re: Speed Modelling Challenge #9 The Tools of Wile E. CoyoteNot at all . ..just download them from the ACME Website! ![]() If I make it look easy. . .then it probably is.

Re: Speed Modelling Challenge #9 The Tools of Wile E. CoyoteWow! Hard to do better than these great models!
![]() Frenglish at its best !
My scripts Re: Speed Modelling Challenge #9 The Tools of Wile E. CoyoteOh sure! just jump in! I don't think I am speaking out of school when I say. . .but Remus could correct me on this. . .that I don't think it has to be something that Wile E. actually used in a cartoon, but the modeler could invent something that he probably would use? Such as an anvil attached to many many balloons, or a piano attached to a rope that is being burned by a candle . .. .etc etc. etc The Acme Warehouse is full of this stuff. In fact. . go back and watch Roger Rabbit!

Re: Speed Modelling Challenge #9 The Tools of Wile E. CoyoteAs long as its in the spirit of his Wile E.s usual tools its fair game
![]() Re: Speed Modelling Challenge #9 The Tools of Wile E. CoyoteNice stuff David. What render engine did you use for the bomb and dynamite?
![]()
Re: Speed Modelling Challenge #9 The Tools of Wile E. Coyotethanks Boo. THe render was just a quickie out of Podium. Then I added a little Farkle of light from Pshop just to get the idea of a fuse burning. 5 minutes tops.
Anyway, I have been meaning to ask you . . .is the name BooFredLay a play on the Name Boo Radley from To Kill a Mockingbird? (one of my favorite books by the way!) just Curious. D If I make it look easy. . .then it probably is.
Re: Speed Modelling Challenge #9 The Tools of Wile E. CoyoteNope, more simple.
My wife's cat (since passed away) was named Boo. My cat (soon to pass away) is named Fred. Our last name is Lay.
Re: Speed Modelling Challenge #9 The Tools of Wile E. CoyoteVery nice. . .Incidently I pulled the rendered image of the bombs from my entry as per the rules.
If I make it look easy. . .then it probably is.
Re: Speed Modelling Challenge #9 The Tools of Wile E. CoyoteSo... are all the pictures you posted from one model/entry, or several?
Re: Speed Modelling Challenge #9 The Tools of Wile E. CoyoteI was not so happy with my Dynamite so I decided to do an ACME hammer.
hope you like.
Re: Speed Modelling Challenge #9 The Tools of Wile E. CoyoteI was thinking that as well, any hints as to how you did it boo?
Re: Speed Modelling Challenge #9 The Tools of Wile E. CoyoteThanks.
After I got the hammer shape I just used the Line tool from the Tools On Surface Ruby. I did the same for the wrap on the handle.
Re: Speed Modelling Challenge #9 The Tools of Wile E. Coyote
consider them separate. Maybe I didn't post those very well. 1) magnet 2) bombs (kinda lame) 3) bow and arrow Merci. ps to Boo. . .that Mallet is awesome. ![]() If I make it look easy. . .then it probably is.
Re: Speed Modelling Challenge #9 The Tools of Wile E. CoyoteThe deadline is tomorrow folks
