Dimensioning in Layout

Dimensioning in LayoutHi, I'm new to sketchUcation but have been using SketchUp for a few years for simple construction projects. I've created a module of a cabinet in SketchUp and now I've moved my scenes into Layout to be able to print a plan. My issue is that I can place dimensions outside of the module but any that I try to place on top of the module disappear. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
Re: Dimensioning in Layout
You are using the Dimension Tool in LayOut? I presume you have tried to adjust the inserted model page depth using the Arrange > Send Backward command?
Re: Dimensioning in LayoutI reloaded SketchUp into layout on a new template and now everything works.
I'm assuming it had something to do with layers. On another note does anyone know how to add material symbols into a module in Layout? Thanks
Re: Dimensioning in Layout
What sort of material symbols are you asking for? Re: Dimensioning in Layout
Most likely that is the case. In LayOut layer order is important. You should create a layer for dimensions that is closer to the top of the layer list than the layer(s) on which the viewports are placed. Etaoin Shrdlu
