Deviant art.

Postby Mike Amos » Tue Dec 20, 2022 4:11 pm

Well I only went and signed up, not sure why even now but after I downloaded the concrete wall texture from the site I just signed up.
I have posted some renders and had good responses so far but early doors and a new visitor may account for that. Thing is, thee push the paid membership. The suggestion is that images can be sold, why folk would want to is anyone's guess but the situation being what it is, anything coming in the door helps and especially when supporting a neighbour and wildlife.

Is there a market for the images I produce and is it a worthy diversion of funds, speculate to accumilate is all well and good but there has to be good reasoning behind the idea.

Any thoughts appreciated folks.

I'd suggest reading up on their terms around using your images to feed their machine learning.

There was alot of noise because they recently added AI prompted image creation but used the user base image uploads to train it. They got alot of kickback on that strategy. Now I believe they opt-out accounts made prior to AI move.
