Taste gets a bit shitty. Almost like you can taste the base of the E-liquid instead of the flavour, it becomes quite obvious.

Well you have a different brand, so I can't say with accuracy. On average they last a week for me and I'm vaping all day. If you keep switching between flavours I imagine they will last up to 2 weeks each.

Basically each week I am using one atomizer at £5.

So that's £260 over the year (+ travel)....so you may as well just buy a rebuildable at half that price. :) Makes sense to me and you get superior flavour and vapour production.

So after Oli raving about how much better he felt after using his E-Cig I decided after 43 years of smoking and countless times of trying to quit cold turkey, the gum ,the patch the medication Chantix to try an E-Cig the only one I could find locally was the Blu not bad but I'm no doubt into this now and going to order an E-Go I'm pretty sure. I know Pete got him a Ferrari but I plan to use this to quit I hope. This not my first time to vape I use a nebulizer 4 times a day with Albuteral and Ipratropium for CPOD and congestive heart failure so I 'm very happy to report that after 28 hours without a smoke only a blu I feel better already. Kinda miss the smokes but it's time to move on.

THANKS Oli and others

mwm5053: great news, yeah Blu is definitely better than patches/gum etc. I don't associate chewing gum/patches with smoking so they never worked for me either. You need the vape to get that instant hit of nicotine. :)

Just you wait until you try the EGO! It's another step up and VERY close to the smoking sensation, buckets of vapour and flavour. I feel like a different person since quitting in body and mind, feeling more balanced. I can only imagine how nice Pete's rig vapes!

You will not "miss the smokes" with the new generation E-Cigs, you get a better dose of nicotine compared to cigarettes as others have also reported. Good luck and order yourself an EGO! great for a starter setup, inexpensive and satisfying. I estimate you get 3-4 times more vapour with each drag with an EGO compared to a Blu and definitely more nicotine.

Avoid buying the giant atomizer which has a flat mouthpiece, it doesn't draw back tight like a cigarette. I prefer the one with clear tank like in the photos, pulls back nicer. If you're unsure post a link and I'll have a look. :thumb:

this is a new mexico based shop.

If you look on the right in Best Sellers you will see the EGO. Looks like they sell the new reinforced tanks too.

Mine does vape well, I did try the EGO in the store and it was also great,I only went for a Ferrari vape so that I would not quit, my logic was spend all my cig monthly budget right then as that way the guilt of wasting so much money and not having a fag budget would help towards the whole quitting. And if it works I actually saved money as I would end up eventually getting a top end vape anyway, so after 6 days smoke free I believe my logic paid off.

Or try these guys mwm5053. That route66vape shop don't sell many sets.

http://directshopecig.com/main.sc

Double EGO set

http://directshopecig.com/DS-E-cig-Deluxe-Set-0001.htm

Double EGO with more spare tanks:

http://directshopecig.com/DS-E-cig-Premium-Set-0002.htm

You're absolutely right Pete. It's actually more economical to buy a high-end rig.

Well what am I doing...if I had the choice in shop I would have definitely bought a better rig. Basically I've bought a stopgap, but because it's cheap, you get the opportunity to try it first without breaking bank. Some people will be determined to smoke either way so an EGO is good for starters in that respect.

Also, because the tanks are essentially disposable, you keep going back buying tanks. Great for business, but not for me. Can't wait to get my hands on the Kayfun 3.1 and Provari!

6 days!! Thats brilliant news! Isn't it great not doing the daily cigarette run to the shop!! :D

I used to buy them online by the carton, normally 5 cartons at a time, would save me around 40% than getting them daily from a convenience store.

Here in Texas we have probably the cheapest smokes, it costs around $6 for a 20's pack however in Cape Cod, Massachusetts it cost me $8.40

Buying online I get it for about $4 per pack

$4! bloody hell! not been that price in UK for 20 years!

The vaping industry over there must be VERY competitive for it to be cheaper than smoking, which is good, promotes innovation.

In UK, 20 cigs will cost £10 = $15.34 very soon. I think it's a great idea, who wants to pay that EVERY day?! The aim is to be a smoke-free country by 2025. I believe vaping should never be banned though. If we can buy caffeine then we should be able to buy nicotine.

You should see our gas prices for a good example of cheap, even though some here think they pay too much it's f*cking cheap $3.20 a Gallon in North Dallas.

I hope that corrupt politicians (99.99% of them) do not bow to big tobacco lobbyists

As expected, I got the note yesterday in my mailbox that the postman had tried to deliver it yesterday, but since the mailbox opening isn't big enough, I need to pick it up today at the post office... :bounce:

I'm really looking SO MUCH forward to this vaping thing...
I'll post an image of my vape kit as soon as I get it... ;)

Nice! Good luck, although, it's really quite easy! :)

When you get that urge, just have a vape and before you even realise it, you've forgotten about a cigarette. :thumb:

What flavour E-Liquids did you get?

Don't squirt E-Liquid down the steel tube in the middle, just pour it down the inside edge of the tank.

I have found that keeping your E-Liquid topped up above half way maintains a better flavour. When it runs low you get a bit less vapour too, so keep it nicely topped up.

I got 5 different flavors in what they call a "starting kit"... :)
US Mix :thumb:
Orange :|
Pinacolada :? (perhaps it'll be my wifes favorite...?)
PlusDamp Mix (which is their own blend...)
and finally...
Cappuchino

There's a quick instruction guide in the kit, where this is highlighted as well...
(perhaps I should try it any way... :P )

So, first impressions?

Don't worry about mixing flavours if you have to. When you have about quarter tank juice left, just top up with a new flavour. Taste will gradually change. :thumb:

You can get better flavours from a dedicated E-Liquid shop. The one I go to has over 150 in stock.

Good luck Kim! If you drink coffee, I suggest to vape a tabaco flavour, it works the best.
I'm 5 days free smoking right now. Yesterday, I went to the shop with a colleague of mine to get his own e-cig. At first, he didn't believed me when I told him I wasn't craving for normal cigs any more. He smoked like 30 cigs per day. So, after one day without smoking, he is fine. Another person decided to go for vaping today, so I think tomorrow I'll get him to the shop as well.
As a side note, I noticed I don't vape as much as in first two days. But I enjoy vaping more and more.
It's a revolution! One with vapours.
Cheers,
Stefan

I believe I do, especially after a Saturday night drinking and partying, the next morning I felt great, no cough or feeling weak. I still feel like I'm cheating as vaping is better than smoking, almost like I changed to a better brand of smoke.
I cannot see a way I will ever light a stinky again, unless all vapes disappear overnight as I'm still a nicotine addict.

They can't sell us poisonous cancer sticks then try and ban the (possible) solution! What kind of sickos we dealing with here?

Well done with drinking/not smoking. That's what made me revert back to cigarettes last year....all my friends going outside for a cig, temptation just beat me. If I had E-Cigs I never would have thought about it.

I found a local shop that sells the Provari Mini 2.5 (same as yours just shorter battery life) I'm thinking I'll go for black. Just awaiting stock of the svoemesto kayfun now.

here's some vape porn :)

yeah kim sound like you need to find a shop where you can sample them. In UK, most popular flavours seem to be tobacco (obviously), blueberry, apple, watermelon and strawberry, the red bull one I have is close to strawberry. When u get the right flavour it just sticks. :thumb:
