Toolbar

SketchUcation is introducing its very own toolbar.

Oh no! Not Another Toolbar!

So most computer geeks and creative professionals don’t have toolbars installed because they clutter the browser. So why did we make one? SketchUcation has made a no-frills, no bells ‘n whistles toolbar that is slim and fits at any screen resolution. We’ve collected only the most important links and features.

Features

Here’s a drill-down of its features:

- SCF: All forums listed under one menu;
- TDC headlines (RSS);
- SUC (SketchUcation) Search field, containing an option to search the site you are at that moment looking at (SketchUcation or any other site) and an option to search all of SketchUcation’s network sites (i.e. SCF, TDC, etc.).

Aims

The aims of the toolbar are:

  • To make it easier for users to quickly access resources on SketchUcation;
  • And to allow a direct-to-user messaging system whereby important announcements such as forum outage due to maintenance or other reason(s) can be communicated instantly without the need for the site to be online.

Future Aims

Some of the features we’d like to introduce at a later date:

  • To offer links to interesting new applications that work with Google SketchUp (not yet implemented);
  • To offer special services in the future such as competition announcements and results (not yet implemented);

Adding and Removing

Show HideThe toolbar allows you to add or remove items. To do this, right-click anywhere on the toolbar and from the context menu choose Show/Hide and then add and/or remove items.

Updates

The SketchUcation Toolbar updates automatically, so if changes are made to the toolbar, you won’t need to install a new version. Any changes that SketchUcation makes will be visible in your installation within seconds.

Downloads

Here are the downloads for each specific browser:

Note: Other browsers are not supported at this time.

Privacy

SketchUcation does not collect any personal information from its users through this toolbar. For more information we refer to the Conduit Privacy Policy.
