Embossing 3D Text Into Imported STL

Postby cmdthe3rd » Fri Sep 14, 2018 5:17 pm

Hello, i am having difficulty embossing text into a model that i imported into sketchup 2017. When i add text to any face the try to extrude it, it appears that the text jumps off of the face ever so slightly and i cannot delete that top face of the text because it seems to merge with the face that i am trying to emboss. What could my issue be?

There is a little trick with VisuHole! :ugeek: ;)

For letters who don't work as aspected (here the "R" ): add a little hole and erase it at the end! ;)
