Thanks Pilou,

This will be a useful plugin for furniture makers and the like. BTW, I get a 'The selected attachment does not exist anymore' message when clicking the English version.

Mike

EDIT: Tried to d/l again and it worked this time ;)

Great plugin :berserk: :berserk: But I´m having a problem...
I´m using centimeters and in "Amplitude translation" I put 100:
cm not working.gif

Look that the final translation is 254.
Seems that the plugin works only in inches??

This looks like an excellent tool to produce assembly instructions for production objects.
Congratulations, c.plassais!

Thank you for looking into this...
I was testing and find that the explode not always give the desired result.
I attach an example of this.
This plugin is great for making exploded drawings. :berserk: :berserk:

Thank you,

Daniel

I sent version 0.2 to Pilou
This version supports the model's current unit
it's heavy, but it works.
I look for the other problem you mentioned

Congratulation - welcome to the Ruby Brotherhood ;)
In the English version dialog popout substitute "Group|Component|Both" for the untransalted French version to get it to work...

great plugin, thanks. if you could rename this "Exploded View" or "Exploded Model Viewer" or similiar, it would be much more precise and easier to find. ;)

Edit the script with a plain text editor - like Notepad.exe [osa] - and replace any 'French' text inside "" with your 'English' translation[s]. Keep a copy in case you screw up...
You can adjust a script to say whatever you want.... :geek:

yes, i was refering to the thread title. i don't think anyone searching for an "exploded view" would ever find it currently.
