Extension developers; can you recommend me translators that you have used for your extensions?

Perfect! You can sign up to the interface via this URL; https://crowdin.com/project/subd/invite ... 63p49383p4Give me your email address and I can issue licenses for SUbD and Vertex Tools.

I might open up the translation system to anyone - then you could add Klingon if you wanted (that is actually an option in the interface. That an pirate speak...)

Do you have a rough estimate for the needed time to translate to one language?

The SUbD UI has 150 little items so not a big deal! 3 hours if you are not speed! A gas Engine UI like 3DCoat + Hint Tips is something like many more 5 000 item (with big item ones) That is an another story! For the SUbD site + Quad Tools + Manuals that is also another story! But very funny to make!

As Pilou mentions, it's a low number of strings. And you don't have to do it all at once. Some here and there when you have time. I'm also testing out Crowdin to manage translations - hopefully making it easier for translators: 2017-03-09_16h42_47.png

Additionally, Crowdin lets me have multiple translators on the same language. So if you know someone to pair up with even better.
Eventually I might open up to the public in general, but I want to run a controlled test first.

Crowdin works very well. I don't know how much trouble Thomthom had on setting this up, but for translators it works as a treat: - Many auto translations are right; - It's a very fast paced process; - It seems easy to comment other people's translations too and refine the translation process; - It also has a very nice "chat" feature that you can use to submit your doubts to Thomthom, who, of course, replies ASAP...
It was a nice experience and it's always gratifying to help any of the plugin developers that helps us daily.
