Are you after photo realistic renders only, or just nice renders?

We mainly want to encourage people that SketchUp is a good program for both 3D models and nice renderings. So any nice renderings would be helpful.

You're right. Can you scale it down?

@Al You have IRender nXt from Render Plus in your signature, why not render your car with it inside SU?

I'm working on it. Trying to get a good environment, add a dome light, etc. Also, I am kind of hoping some other IRender nXt users will find this thread. They are probably much better than I am at rendering cars.

Cheers Carl, i see a little problem with fireflies in the noise i think it's the car paint and the HDR lighting. The discs are pretty simple, i used an iron material set to about 10-15& roughness. This is pretty close to steel. Then i used a circular bump map, in the plugin i made it cubic projection voila.

Excellent renders to all. Just a quick question if I may. Are the backgrounds HDR's and are they ones that came with the individual render programs or did they come from outside source. I use Kerkythea because it's just a hobby and the HDR's off the KT site always look blurry and and not as good as the one's I see many using here.
Thanks

after Paul Walker's tragic death, yesterday, i remembered my many hours spent with the Need for Speed game saga, back in the days
much respect for the man and the actor, and may he rest in peace
kind of a fun tribute to him, with my previous render and 10 minutes in Photoshop

Trying to get Christmas organised, still need the decorations but I've got the boy's toys all lined up.
All SU geometry except the three framed pictures and the foggy trees outside. Twilight Render no post.
