My Shadows Toolbar does appear. Its Show/Hide Shadows button works, but not the Shadows Settings button.
I've:
- pluged in in a second monitor to be sure it was not trying to display itself on the non-primary monitor. No luck
- I've hard booted. No luck
- I've reduced the SU window and moved it the side to assure the Shadows Settings Pane was not being hidden

Thanks for the suggestion Jeff, but it didn't do anything.

I'm a bit fuzzy but I thinks this is what you have to do....
Activate Shadows under windows menu.
Press Alt-Space
Press 'm'
Use arrow keys to move window back on screen

With Sketchup closed... Start > Regedit Find HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google\SketchUp8\SnappyShadowsEdit its contents, set x=0 and y=0, then close. This will put the dialog top left of the screen when Sketchup reopens. [Useful when you mess up using Rich's trick and put the dialog on the Moon! ]

Also check with the secondary monitor that you have looked all around, it can be to the left, right, above or below.

Hi TIG, something else must be broken in the registry for my Laptop PC (win 7).
I also tried the registry entry on my win 7 Desktop and it worked.

Try repairing the installation, through the installer, first.. (before reinstalling.)
