Re: Tiny DogLOL.
Good for you. I love dogs. And cats. Individual creatures, never forgotten. Here's mine. A ~8 years old stray became my friend. The most clever dog I had. Please, register (free) to access all the attachments on the forums.
Re: Tiny DogSince we are posting about our dogs, here is mine, he is called Sox and he has become my best friend.
As a pup: When he got his nuts removed: On his first birthday: Today: He still thinks he is a lap-dog This is a crazy hyperactive mutt (cross terrier and Beagle) eats anything, from Jalapeno to Orange peels. Liam, cute pup, wondering how big it will be, I had no idea how big mine would be as I got mine from the Flea market on a whim and they had no idea about what it was or how big he would get, he is now around 40 pounds. I also edited your thread title as I thought this could be a great thread for us to show our dogs...hope you do not mind.
Re: Tiny DogHis name is Neo and he's 9yrs old. He's partially blind and has arthritis but he remains attached to my side everyday.
Re: Tiny DogYep! Our four legged friends are really great buddies. I'd be lost only for Jock. He insists on his walks along our favourite, 'Rocky Road'.
I've had him from a pup, now 5 years old. Hopefully he will be around for another ten years ..... Mmmmmm ..... and I imagine he is hoping the same for me I must root out the video we made of Jock tap dancing. He's quite good at it, with a little help from me. About the choice of breeds we make, people say dogs can often look like their owners and I think there is something to this If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then giving Fido only two of them. ~Phil Pastoret Please, register (free) to access all the attachments on the forums.

Re: Tiny Dog (show your dog)A Dingo! That's the Australia wild dog? Didn't know the were domesticated but no surprise, after all the are dogs. When you come to think of it, all dogs are only a step away from the wild. If my fella gets a smell of a rat, he's off, grab, crush, snap and the rat is a goner!
Re: Tiny Dog (show your dog)I've always had cats, but I now share my life with a previously feral Portuguese mongrel. As a cat person I've never really understood dogs, but this fella was going to bite the bullet (literally) if I didn't fake his death (it's a long story) and bring him back to the UK.
He's only about seven, but he's struggling at the moment with the consequences of a parasitic infection fom his days living rough. It looks like he will pull through but it's been a tough couple of weeks. I'll post some pictures when I'm at my PC tomorrow. He looks like a bit like a Maltese Shih Tzu cross mixed with Jock running down that 'Rocky Road' - all tong and ears flapping with an underbite that makes him look like something from Where the Wild Things Are.
Re: Tiny Dog (show your dog)This is Alfie, our 8 month old Yorkie. This is an unusually sedentary pose (the only time you can actually photograph him). Most of the time he's a little dynamo and spends most of the time just whizzing around. I don't take him for walks; he takes me on forced marches...chasing after rabbits or racing off to play with other dogs that are a mere speck on the horizon. How he sees them from only six inches above the ground is a complete mystery.
He announces that he's up and ready for another day of fun at 6.30 sharp every morning...with a pretty fair imitation of a coyote. Please, register (free) to access all the attachments on the forums. FormFonts
If Wile E.Coyote has enough money to buy all that Acme crap, why can't he just buy dinner?
Re: Tiny Dog
Please be very careful, onions are toxic to dogs. Speak to your vet for details. Would hate to see something happen to this cutie! All people have the right to stupidity but some abuse the privilege.
Re: Tiny Dog (show your dog)not so tiny but this is Pep, my 8 years old Labrador Retriever. on top of Pep, my son Nuno. they are best friends and Nuno does amazing things to Pep without ever eliciting an aggressive reaction. as everyone knows, retrievers are great for kids.

Re: Tiny Dog (show your dog)Pet pix...! How many millions would you like!? Here we have Izzie (Jack Russel/Border Collie - smart, obedient & a complete tart when her Daddy's around) sitting with her 'baby' Olly. In the absence of her own pup she adopted Olly & grooms him vigourously... which he adores! We also have Buddy (Cocker Spaniel - was supposed to be another JR, but I fell for him instead, even though he's the dumbest clown ever. And finally Sam (retriever - crazy young dog who found us too sedate for his lifestyle so moved in with another local labrador. It broke our hearts but was the best thing for him.

Re: Tiny Dog (show your dog)Couldn't resist
Here is our beloved "Karamel". She is a two year old Golden Retriever. She is very active and higly intelligent (figured out how to open the door by tugging on the handle by herself She had a boyfriend over a couple of days ago. So hopefully we will have puppies soon. Karamel's first morning with us: Karamel now Please, register (free) to access all the attachments on the forums.
Re: Tiny Dog (show your dog)As promised, here are a couple of images of Pipocas (I think the name comes from a brand of Portuguese popcorn):

Re: Tiny Dog (show your dog)This is fantastic! Don't dogs bring out the best in people! While on my walks with Jock, I get to talk with people that I would never otherwise meet and get to know. And Jock also gets to meet new friends also. Its great fun watching the sniffing process!
Re: Tiny Dog (show your dog)Mike, My wife was the one that suggested getting a dog, her thinking was that I needed to get out of my chair and get some sun and exercise. Now I cannot imagine life without my dog, he is next to me at all times, from sitting on my lap while I work to riding shotgun whenever I go out on an errand. I have become that crazy dog guy that I laughed at in the past.
Re: Tiny Dog (show your dog)
Eh, a step maybe, but what a step! We, humans, how many steps away?
Did he eat your rooter's cables? Mine did so. Please, register (free) to access all the attachments on the forums.
Re: Tiny Dog (show your dog)
David, yep Pipocas is half Westie and Shih Tzu. He looks like a character! We had a Shih Tzu, Merlin, some years ago, very head strong dog but lively. I hope Pipocas pulls through his problems
Re: Tiny Dog (show your dog)
The only gnawing that Jock has ever done was to the skirting board corners in the Utility Rm where he sleeps. He is has been good with other things in the house.
Re: Tiny Dog (show your dog)
Thanks Mike. Thankfully his medication has started to kick in and he's been tumbling around like a puppy again. He's got loads of weird habits from his feral days: he tries to dig into rugs as if he was excavating a bed in the dirt. Up until recently he had to share the house with a cat so he mimics cat behaviour in order to get attention. Luckily he hasn't picked up the habit of biting cables - my last cat was always doing that and I've still got conduit pipe covering all my exposed cables. Re: Tiny Dog (show your dog)Hmm.. Karamel ate our door frame a while back
In her defense though, apparently there was some kind of wood grub or something inside, making this constant ticking noise and eating away the wood. She just couldn't stand it! So she might have actually saved our house from an infestation. Please, register (free) to access all the attachments on the forums.
Re: Tiny Dog (show your dog)Wow! Gulcan, Karamel must be strong! Jock's damage in contrast pales

Re: Tiny Dog (show your dog)Yes the little dogs are cute on the internet, and not ruining your house!
Here is my Sister's poodle-aussie puppy Izzi, The Destroyer of Shoes, who stayed with us (note the manic glint in her eye) and our husky Chinook. and here are our dogs, Tess (mixed husky) and Chinook. They look quiet here but they are about to take off like bats out of hell. Please, register (free) to access all the attachments on the forums.
Re: Tiny Dog (show your dog)I Just couldn't resist showing off my 2 blue-merle Aussies!
The 1st is Toby - my intense blue eyed boy who loves playing ball The 2nd is Indigo - my greedy-guts girl who is always trying to "trick" us into treating her! Please, register (free) to access all the attachments on the forums. All people have the right to stupidity but some abuse the privilege.
Re: Tiny Dog (show your dog)And here is one of my special boy, Zac.
A more loving dog I have never met which makes his passing a few weeks ago (at 2.5 years) all the more tragic and heart-aching! May his gentle soul rest in peace!!!
