SketchUcation Affiliate Partners

Postby Mike Lucey » Tue Jan 17, 2012 8:38 pm

Hi Guys,

The following are the Affiliate Partners SketchUcation has partnered with. We only partner with product sellers / producers that we feel offer quality items, be they applications, accessories or hardware, also items that we feel our membership might be interested in. If you are interested in being updated about our ongoing affiliate partners it might be a good idea to bookmark this topic (see bottom left of page)

Best regards,

Mike

IM Creator

Postby Mike Lucey » Sat Mar 03, 2012 2:09 am

Hi Guys,

I stumbled across IM Creator a few days ago and as I had in mind for some time to develop a simple personal web site, I decided to investigate further.

After a few minutes checking out IM Creator I came to the conclusion that this was the most user friendly On-Line Web Development site that I had seen to date and it is proving FUN learn and to use!

I was so impressed that I contacted the company and SketchUcation has now partnered with IM Creator in our first Affiliate deal.

Mike

PS: I have received further information from support at IM Creator regarding iCommerce functionality. I was given this link, http://support.imcreator.com/entries/20 ... line-store which explain the various options.

I have now asked if there is a possibility of allowing the user to have their own hosting option. I will keep you posted. BTW, I find support very fast and friendly :thumb:

No more finger painting with the Adonit Pro

Postby Mike Lucey » Fri Mar 16, 2012 6:52 pm

I've been using the Adonit Pro for the past number of weeks and find it to be an excellent stylus for my iPad, particulary when working on intricate details.

The pen is well constructed using aircraft aluminium and feels right in the hand, not to heavy, not too light. If you are looking for accuracy on your iPad or other slate check out the Adonit Pro.

Photo to Movie

Postby Mike Lucey » Sat Mar 17, 2012 12:35 am

I’ve been looking for ways to produce effective slideshow movies from my SketchUp models for some time. Of course I could just plan a movie and output the animation but I often don’t know what the outcome will look like until after a long wait.

Even after this wait the movie will often require some further editing work. One low cost alternative option that looks promising with its easy process for creating feature rich slideshow videos is Photo to Movie by LG Graphics
